The Wall Gallery brings to you in August - September
illustrator Angie Johnson and a collection of her amazing
colored pencil renderings. The show will feature
specifically her highly detailed drawings of classic
American automobiles. The exhibition will be on display from August 1 - September 30, 2008. An opening reception will be held during the Havelock Car Show on Sunday, September 7th, from 12 to 4 pm., accompanied by hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. Angie will be available to visit during the opening. The reception is free and open to the public. Against the Wall Gallery is open: Mon., Wed., Fri. and Sat. 10 to 5 pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 7 pm. We are located in Lincoln's Historic Havelock area at 6220 Havelock Avenue. About
the Artist: "I have been drawing since childhood and my passion now is to illustrate people and the passions they live for. I have been illustrating children, weddings, cars (big people toys), animals (pets & wildlife), homes and whatever else they Love and Cherish. My illustrations have made it into homes in many states and I have even illustrated for a feature article in national magazine POA (Ponys of America). I’ve spent many years in the field of commercial art designing along with hundreds of book covers and illustrated several books. Now I am fortunate enough to illustrate full-time and use the talent God has blessed me with.” |
